Incubator project

Each year, the University of Exeter funds multiple research-led education projects through a programme called the Education Incubator. We currently hold funding for a cross-disciplinary project called “Decolonial Knowledge Production and Anti-Racist Pedagogy.” The project pairs  members of Exeter staff with eight student fellows across different departments to explore and exchange best practice interventions, while bringing greater visibility and insight to decolonial work through collective research practice.

The project participants work collaboratively to create spaces for exchanging teaching practice and student experience while also building new relationships and agendas across the University and beyond with external organisations and experts. It aims to support decolonial initiatives across the University community and become a catalyst for wider institutional change.
